How I treat my students
I suppose that the most essential part of teaching mathematics is actually to carry the beauty and the clarity of the course whilst valuing particular scholar's learning speed. I rely on trusting in every learner, the fact that each one holds the power to do and comprehend the mathematics exposed to him or her. I think that the goal of lesson is to equip each student with skill-sets and common sense to succeed and function in society. Therefore, I choose to deal with my learners respectfully and to be as encouraging as possible in the learning process whilst stimulating them to search for other ways of thinking and fresh concepts and principles. I will definitely note every specific student's needs within reason of what exactly is possible and what instruments are available in the classroom. I will look for to invest as much or more effort and time as I await from my learners. I will acknowledge that I have as much to find out annually like my students, and I will be open enough to receive commentary and ready for new methods of training in an effort to grasp all of the learning styles.
The source of support and help for students
I view my function at this point as an authority figure, much in the same manner their actual school teachers are, still, also as a supplementary supplier of support and help. My purpose is that of an adviser since I don't teach a full day of courses as my master teacher does, hence I may be a source the students may choose to receive additional advice as well as can rely on for encouragement. My duty is also that of a learner, so I view myself as a prolongation of my learners, I am learning with all of them what it really means to be an excellent mathematics tutor.
My teaching strategy
Contrary to various tutoring organisations in Kwinana, during the normal academic year, I actually work with the data that the student obtains in his/her class. This means I tend not to require that students do beyond worksheets and homework which are not really component of the student's maths class, but rather, I coach the scholar in sectors of his/her mathematics program which may be really difficult such as quality and depth of understanding, application of principles, and test-taking strategies. Everything I do is related straightly to helping the student to better perceive the information from the maths course of study they are taking and in order to improve the grade in that subject.
